The BS1F 1MXH 4801 boosting plant employs a heavy-duty Calpeda MXH 4801 horizontal multistage pump, delivering flow rates up to 1000 L/Min to satisfy heavy water draw-offs. Where system lift is needed, the hydraulics can generate up to 18 m of head.
Overseeing hydraulic delivery is an integrated assembly of differential pressure switches with a microprocessor control board designed for hands-free operation. The controller monitors discharge header pressure around the clock, firing up the pump immediately when demand surges and holding operation steady until the upper pressure set point is achieved. Intelligent anti-hunting timers safeguard the starter contactors from rapid repetitive switching.
To handle peak flows above a thousand litres per minute without choking, the skid incorporates oversized stainless steel AISI 304 suction and delivery headers. Incoming water enters through a substantial 125 mm suction flange and discharges through a 100 mm outlet manifold into the distribution network. Full-bore isolation ball valves, a heavy-duty check valve, a dial pressure gauge, and a vessel connection port are fitted as standard.
Driven from a commercial three-phase 415 V electrical supply, the motor features a three-phase 400/690 V winding architecture engineered for continuous industrial duty. Operating as a 2-pole induction machine at approximately 2900 rpm (50 Hz) with Class F insulation and IEC 60034 compliance, it produces 5.5 kW (P2) of output power while drawing 6.2 A.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.

- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
