Medium-sized apartment complexes, sports pavilions, and commercial amenities often need both generous flow capacity and solid vertical lift. Centred on 1 Calpeda MXHL 404 horizontal multistage pump, the BS1F 1MXHL 404 pressure booster delivers up to 133.3 L/Min. The multistage impeller stack can develop up to 40.5 m of head to overcome static building height. Its streamlined single-pump layout ensures strong, balanced water delivery across multi-floor distribution networks.
Pressure modulation across the manifold is directed by differential pressure switches communicating with an onboard microprocessor control board. Whenever system pressure drops below the set threshold, the controller initiates a smooth start and uses programmed hold-off timers to prevent rapid cycling. Continuous electronic monitoring also protects the wet end from dry-running damage and voltage irregularities.
Built around hygienic stainless steel AISI 304 header pipework, the fluid manifold combines a 32 mm suction inlet with a 25 mm discharge outlet. Heavy-duty isolation ball valves and a reliable non-return check valve allow effortless maintenance isolation and stop reverse water hammer. An easy-to-read system pressure gauge and a dedicated connection point for an external expansion vessel come pre-installed on the header.
Operating from a standard three-phase 415 V site supply, the electric drive features a three-phase 230/400 V motor winding rating. This 2-pole induction motor turns at 2900 rpm on a 50 Hz supply, delivering 0.75 kW (P2) of mechanical power and drawing 2 A under full load. Engineered in accordance with IEC 60034 standards and insulated to Class F limits, the motor provides dependable thermal endurance.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
