Built around two horizontal multistage Calpeda MXH 1602 units, the BS2F 2MXH 1602 booster set delivers impressive flow rates up to 833.4 L/Min. To support elevated outlets and long pipe runs, the package can deliver up to 23 m of head. Splitting the hydraulic workload across two pumps ensures rapid flow response and reliable duty-standby security.
Automatic staging between the lead and lag pumps is directed by a microprocessor control board connected to differential pressure switches. When a single pump is sufficient for baseline demand, the second unit remains on standby, cutting in automatically whenever high-volume draw-off causes header pressure to dip. Cyclic duty alternation equalises running hours across both motors, while anti-cycling logic stops short-cycling during minor leaks.
Wide-diameter stainless steel AISI 304 manifolds accommodate high flow volumes without excessive friction or turbulence. The skid features an 80 mm suction manifold and a 65 mm delivery header complete with a connection point for an external diaphragm tank and a clear pressure gauge. Individual isolation ball valves and non-return check valves on each branch stop reverse flow and simplify pump maintenance.
Three-phase power integration connects a standard three-phase 415 V building supply to motors carrying a three-phase 230/400 V winding rating. All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
