By splitting the workload across two identical pumping units, facilities gain built-in backup security and smooth flow delivery.
Orchestrating the twin pumps is a microprocessor control board linked to responsive differential pressure switches on the discharge header. Whenever pipeline pressure drops below the primary setpoint, the controller starts the lead pump and brings the assist unit online only if demand outpaces a single pump. Duty-assist roles alternate automatically between cycles to distribute mechanical stress evenly, while anti-cycling circuitry stops repetitive switching under low-flow conditions.
Engineered for longevity in commercial plant rooms, the manifold assembly uses heavy-gauge stainless steel AISI 304 for both suction and delivery headers. The skid features an 80 mm inlet connection and a 65 mm outlet port, accompanied by individual isolation ball valves and spring check valves on every branch. Technicians can read line pressure directly from the onboard gauge and attach an external pressure vessel at the dedicated manifold fitting.
Running off a standard three-phase 415 V mains supply, the twin drives utilise industrial windings rated for three-phase 230/400 V service. Both 2-pole induction motors rotate at a nominal 2900 rpm under 50 Hz frequency, generating 1.8 kW (P2) of mechanical power and drawing 4.8 A per unit. Conforming to IEC 60034 motor standards with Class F insulation, the electrical package provides quiet, energy-conscious performance.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
