Conquering steep vertical elevation in tall buildings and long-distance distribution mains requires a high-head twin pumping package. Powered by two Calpeda MXH 2005 horizontal multistage pumps, the BS2F 2MXH 2005 pressure booster unit supplies up to 800 L/Min of water. Where high-pressure boosting is needed, the hydraulic stages can produce up to 81.5 m of head. Its dual-pump arrangement ensures uninterrupted pressurisation and full standby capability across high-rise commercial and industrial networks.
Onboard microprocessor intelligence works in tandem with differential pressure switches to match pump output to real-time building demand. A single lead pump handles routine consumption efficiently, and the lag pump cuts in automatically when simultaneous fixture usage pulls manifold pressure down. Sequential duty alternation swaps the starting order on every cycle to balance component life, while anti-cycling delays protect the electrical contactors from chattering.
Sanitary-grade stainless steel AISI 304 suction and delivery manifolds anchor the hydraulic layout, minimising friction loss and preventing internal rust. Installers can couple feed lines to the 80 mm inlet header and route pressurised flow from the 65 mm outlet manifold. Each pump leg includes isolation ball valves and non-return check valves, complemented by a system pressure gauge and a ready-made port for an external diaphragm expansion vessel.
Supplied from a standard three-phase 415 V mains supply, the booster set drives two heavy-duty motors wound for three-phase 400/690 V operation. Both 2-pole induction units spin at roughly 2900 rpm on a 50 Hz supply, with each motor rated at 5.5 kW (P2) and drawing 6.2 A under load. Compliant with IEC 60034 benchmarks and built with Class F insulation, the drives provide exceptional thermal durability.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
