Engineered as the BS2F 2MXHL 203 package, this dual-pump skid pairs two Calpeda MXHL 203 horizontal multistage pumps on a unified base frame. Operating in parallel, the twin pumps deliver a combined flow of up to 160 L/Min across varying daily occupancy levels. Up to 31 m of head can be developed to maintain steady water pressure.
Sequential lead-lag staging and automatic duty alternation are governed by a microprocessor control board working with calibrated differential pressure switches. During light water usage, a single lead pump satisfies system demand, while the second lag pump starts automatically whenever heavier draw-offs cause pressure to dip further. By alternating the lead duty role between both pumps and applying anti-cycling delays, the controller balances mechanical wear evenly and prevents rapid start-stop chatter.
Twin pump branches join cleanly into common AISI 304 stainless steel suction and delivery manifolds designed for hygienic potable and hot-water service. Main building pipework connects via a 50 mm inlet header and discharges boosted water through a 40 mm outlet header. Individual isolation ball valves and non-return check valves on each pump leg allow one unit to be serviced while the other remains online, complemented by a pressure gauge and an external vessel port.
Three-phase commercial switchboards energise the control cabinet through a three-phase 415 V mains supply, feeding dual motors wound for three-phase 230/400 V operation. Each 2-pole induction motor operates at approximately 2900 rpm on 50 Hz power, delivering 0.37 kW (P2) per pump and drawing just 1.4 A under full load. Built with Class F insulation to IEC 60034 standards, both drives offer dependable thermal durability.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
