Built around two horizontal multistage Calpeda MXHL 803 pumps, the BS2F 2MXHL 803 booster set supplies up to 433.4 L/Min of flow. For vertical risers and pressurised distribution lines, the pump assembly can reach up to 32 m of head. Sharing the hydraulic duty across twin pumps guarantees strong flow delivery during peak hours while preserving standby redundancy.
Control over pump staging rests with a microprocessor control board guided by calibrated differential pressure switches on the discharge header. Whenever building demand exceeds the capacity of the lead pump, the controller automatically brings the lag unit online to stabilise manifold pressure. Sequential duty alternation rotates the primary pump role on subsequent cycles, while anti-cycling safeguards prevent rapid starting and stopping.
Generously sized stainless steel AISI 304 manifolds keep fluid velocities low and minimise head loss across the skid. The assembly features a 65 mm suction header and a 50 mm delivery manifold, complete with a dedicated port for an external expansion vessel and a clear system pressure gauge. Each pump leg includes isolation ball valves and non-return check valves to stop backflow and permit isolated servicing.
Electrical integration is straightforward using a three-phase 415 V mains supply connected to motors carrying a three-phase 230/400 V winding rating. Driven by 2-pole induction motors running at 2900 rpm on 50 Hz frequency, each pump produces 1.1 kW (P2) of output power and draws 2.7 A. Engineered to IEC 60034 requirements with Class F insulation, the motor assemblies deliver dependable efficiency during continuous operation.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
