Balancing high flow capacity with mid-range vertical lift is essential for multi-level hotels, sports complexes, and commercial office towers. Equipped with two horizontal multistage Calpeda MXHL 804 pumps, the BS2F 2MXHL 804 boosting plant delivers up to 433.4 L/Min of water. The multistage impeller stack can develop up to 42.5 m of head to overcome static building height. Operating as a twin-pump set, it handles heavy peak draw-offs while offering uninterrupted backup protection.
Responsive staging between the two pumps is handled by differential pressure switches communicating with a dedicated microprocessor control board. During moderate consumption a single unit maintains line pressure, and when demand rises the second pump cuts in automatically to assist. Built-in duty alternation swaps the lead unit on each cycle to balance mechanical wear, while anti-cycling logic prevents rapid start-stop chatter.
Manifold fabrication uses precision-welded stainless steel AISI 304 headers to resist corrosion and maintain low hydraulic resistance. Water enters via a 65 mm suction collector and discharges through a 50 mm outlet manifold fitted with an external tank connection port and a system pressure gauge. Isolation ball valves and non-return check valves on both pump branches allow one pump to be serviced while the other remains active.
Running on a standard Australian three-phase 415 V power supply, the package utilises motors wound for three-phase 230/400 V operation. Each 2-pole induction drive rotates at approximately 2900 rpm on 50 Hz mains power, delivering 1.5 kW (P2) per pump and drawing 3.6 A at full load. Built to IEC 60034 standards, the motors incorporate Class F thermal insulation for dependable continuous duty.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
