Large commercial developments and multi-building campuses need both substantial water volume and strong vertical head to keep upper-level fixtures pressurised. Powered by two horizontal multistage Calpeda MXHL 805 pumps, the BS2F 2MXHL 805 booster assembly supplies up to 433.4 L/Min. Where high-pressure boosting is needed, the hydraulic stages can produce up to 54 m of head. This twin-pump configuration meets demanding peak loads while ensuring continuous water availability during routine servicing.
Smart multi-pump staging is achieved through differential pressure switches wired directly to an onboard microprocessor control board. Rather than running both motors unnecessarily, the board activates the primary pump first and stages the assist pump online only when system pressure falls under heavy draw. Automatic duty alternation rotates the lead position between starts, while anti-cycling timers prevent rapid contactor switching.
Engineered for clean water durability, the suction and discharge headers are constructed entirely from stainless steel AISI 304. A 65 mm inlet manifold feeds both pumps before converging into a 50 mm outlet header equipped with an external vessel port and a dial pressure gauge. Dedicated isolation ball valves and non-return check valves on each branch prevent backflow and allow individual pump shut-off.
Drive power comes from a three-phase 415 V electrical supply feeding heavy-duty motors rated at three-phase 230/400 V. Operating as 2-pole induction machines at 2900 rpm on 50 Hz power, each motor provides 1.8 kW (P2) shaft power and draws 4.8 A under full load. Compliant with IEC 60034 specifications, the windings feature Class F insulation to handle sustained plant-room temperatures.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
