Product Overview
Elevated sanitary risers in commercial properties depend on continuous pressure regulation to maintain service stability and prevent fixture starvation. This high-efficiency twin system incorporates 2 Calpeda MXV 50-2003 vertical multistage pumps in parallel to deliver reliable, balanced water circulation. Operating against closed pipework, the multistage wet ends produce a maximum shut-off head of 41.4 m to overcome static building elevation. When demand reaches operational peaks, the parallel pumping assembly achieves a maximum flow rate of 933 L/Min across distribution outlets.
System line pressure is dynamically stabilized by an integrated motor-mounted Calpeda I-MAT frequency converter working in synchronized twin-pump orchestration. A high-precision digital transducer measures header pressure continuously, allowing the inverter to vary impeller velocity in direct response to consumer draw. Engineered acceleration ramps eliminate hydraulic water hammer, reducing physical stress on pipe joints, valves, and building plumbing infrastructure. The onboard control architecture includes comprehensive digital fault detection, automatically stopping the pumps during dry-run, power supply, or thermal overload events.
Wetted hydraulic components are fabricated from certified AISI 304 stainless steel, including intermediate stage bowls, precision impellers, casings, and pump shafts. The dual pumping units tie into AISI 304 stainless steel headers having standardized 80 mm suction and 80 mm delivery ports with G 3" BSP / DN 80 flanged. Dedicated full-bore isolation ball valves and check valves secure each pump line, anchored to a rigid AISI 304 stainless steel structural mounting skid.
Electric propulsion is delivered via two 2-pole asynchronous induction motors built strictly for standard Australian commercial three-phase 400 V (50 Hz) power supplies. Operating at 2900 rpm, the dual motor assembly provides 2 x 3 kW of mechanical shaft energy and absorbs a rated full-load current of 2 x 6.2 Amps. Heavy-duty stator windings with Class F thermal insulation ensure dependable mechanical longevity under continuous plant room commercial operation.
