Product Overview
Large commercial service facilities and high-volume processing plants depend on the Calpeda BS3V 3MXHL 408-ITT 3-pump booster set. Built with 3 x Calpeda MXHL 408 multistage pump assemblies, the package delivers a maximum volumetric flow rate of 399 L/min to overcome sudden demand spikes across commercial pipework. The hydraulic wet ends produce a maximum shut-off head of 84.8 metres to maintain constant vertical static elevation without line starvation.
Designed with multi-pump redundancy for zero downtime, the 3-pump system reliably delivers up to 399 L/min. System regulation is controlled by an integrated I-MAT variable speed control system governing all three pumps in automated coordination. The pumps dynamically adjust their operating frequency to match instantaneous draw-off rates, eliminating mechanical water hammer and destructive line pressure surges. A factory-plumbed 18 L membrane pressure vessel dampens transient micro-fluctuations, while digital pressure transducers provide real-time line feedback to protect against dry running.
The complete 3-pump booster system is erected on a torsionally balanced steel support chassis. Hydraulic construction utilizes premium 316L Stainless Steel impellers, stage chambers, and pump casings for superior corrosion resistance and longevity. The 8-stage hydraulic stacks connect into common manifolds featuring a 65 mm suction port and a 50 mm delivery connection. Each individual pump line incorporates dedicated nickel-plated brass shut-off ball valves and non-return check valves mounted on a vibration-dampened S235JR steel baseplate.
All three three-phase motors are wound for standard 400V 50 Hz supplies to match primary facility boards. Operating with a full-load current rating of 3 x 4.8 Amps, the TEFC motor configuration incorporates IP54 ingress protection and Class F thermal winding insulation. The package is rated for continuous fluid temperatures from -15°C to +110°C and ambient plant room environments up to 40°C. Manufactured to strict European standards, the entire variable-speed booster system is backed by a comprehensive 24 Months manufacturer warranty.
