Built around one Calpeda MXHLM 405 horizontal multistage pump, the BSM1F 1MXHLM 405 booster set provides strong vertical lift without requiring three-phase site power. The unit supports flow rates up to 133.3 L/Min during simultaneous draw-offs. For multi-storey risers and long pipe runs, the multistage wet end can reach up to 52 m of head.

Precision electromechanical pressure tracking manages pump starts and stops through calibrated differential pressure switches and a central microprocessor control board. When water consumption causes manifold pressure to drop below the preset threshold, the controller energises the pump and verifies stable pressure recovery before shutting down. Built-in anti-cycling protection guards against rapid hunting during low-flow periods, preserving motor starter contacts and keeping line pressure smooth.

Fabricated AISI 304 stainless steel suction and delivery manifolds provide a hygienic, rust-free conduit for domestic and commercial water supplies. Installers connect incoming feed lines to the 32 mm suction port and route boosted water from the 25 mm discharge port. Full-bore isolation ball valves and spring-loaded non-return valves come pre-fitted alongside an analogue pressure gauge and a dedicated tee connection for an external diaphragm tank.

Direct electrical compatibility with standard building switchboards is achieved through a single-phase 230 V power connection serving the motor directly. Driven by a 2-pole induction motor operating at approximately 2900 rpm on 50 Hz supply, the pump delivers 1.1 kW (P2) of output power and draws 7.4 A under full hydraulic load.
