High-head single-phase pressure boosting is essential when properties with steep elevation changes or multi-level risers lack three-phase mains infrastructure. Designed for these challenging sites, the BSM1F 1MXHLM 406 package integrates one Calpeda MXHLM 406 horizontal multistage pump into a self-contained skid. It delivers up to 133.3 L/Min of water flow to satisfy high-demand fixture usage. To keep distant outlets and upper floors properly pressurised, the pump can develop up to 63 m of head.
Responsive differential pressure switches work in tandem with an integrated microprocessor control board to automate system operation around the clock. Any pressure drop caused by opening valves or sanitary fixtures signals the controller to start the pump and sustain operation until the upper cut-out threshold is met. Anti-cycling logic prevents repetitive starting and stopping when demand is minimal, protecting electrical switchgear and hydraulic seals from premature fatigue.
Heavy-gauge AISI 304 stainless steel suction and delivery headers ensure clean, corrosion-free water handling across the entire manifold assembly. Plumbers tie the primary supply into a 32 mm suction connection and feed building risers through a 25 mm discharge connection. Dedicated isolation ball valves, non-return check valves, a visual system pressure gauge, and an external expansion vessel connection point are all factory fitted for immediate installation.
Single-phase electrical installation remains straightforward thanks to a single-phase 230 V supply and motor winding specification. Operating at approximately 2900 rpm on a 50 Hz supply, the 2-pole induction motor produces 1.5 kW (P2) of shaft power and draws a rated current of 9.2 A at peak duty. Manufactured with Class F insulation in full compliance with IEC 60034 standards, the motor withstands continuous thermal stress in demanding commercial service.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
