Anchored by one heavy-duty Calpeda MXH 1602 horizontal multistage pump, this variable-speed package achieves a high maximum flow of up to 416.7 L/Min. Up to 23 m of delivery head can be developed to keep upper-level fixtures properly pressurised. It is purpose-built for applications where multiple large outlets open simultaneously.
Intelligent pressure management is provided by an onboard I-MAT frequency converter mounted directly to the pump drive. Instead of running at fixed maximum output, the inverter senses downstream pressure shifts and adjusts motor speed proportionally to keep manifold pressure locked at the desired level. This variable-speed operation cuts electricity consumption during off-peak draw, logs operating hours and energy data, and shields the unit against dry-running damage.
To accommodate its high flow rating without excessive friction loss, the skid utilises larger AISI 304 stainless steel suction and delivery manifolds. Water enters through a 50 mm suction header and exits via a 40 mm discharge manifold that includes a dedicated connection port for an external pressure tank. Heavy-duty isolation ball valves, a non-return check valve, and a system pressure gauge are factory installed for immediate site integration.
Despite its high-flow commercial capacity, the unit connects conveniently to a single-phase 230 V power supply, with the inverter driving the three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. The 2-pole induction motor is rated at 1.5 kW (P2), draws 3.6 A under full duty, and runs up to 2900 rpm at 50 Hz. Manufactured to IEC 60034 standards with Class F winding insulation, the drive assembly provides enduring reliability.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
