Generous volumetric throughput across low-to-medium head commercial and residential networks is handled with exceptional efficiency by the Calpeda BSM1V 1MXHL 802-EMT booster system. Built around a single Calpeda MXHL 802 horizontal multistage pump, this packaged unit supplies an expansive flow rate of up to 216.7 L/Min. The multistage impeller stack can develop up to 20.5 m of head to overcome static building height. It provides steady, whisper-quiet pressurisation for large homes, amenity blocks, and light industrial circulation loops.
Dynamic speed regulation is managed by a pump-mounted I-MAT frequency converter that continuously adapts motor output to live plumbing demand. Whenever fixtures open along the line, the drive smoothly ramps up rotational speed to preserve constant delivery pressure without sudden surges. In addition to recording energy usage and operating history, the onboard electronics protect the hydraulic assembly against dry running, voltage spikes, and thermal overload.
Clean fluid handling is assured by precision-welded AISI 304 stainless steel suction and delivery manifolds mounted on the base frame. The intake header is sized at 40 mm to promote smooth inflow, while the 25 mm discharge manifold includes a built-in port for attaching an external diaphragm tank. Isolation ball valves, a non-return check valve, and an analogue pressure gauge come pre-installed to simplify site connection and maintenance.
Powered from a standard single-phase 230 V electrical circuit, the inverter feeds variable-frequency power directly to the three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. This 2-pole induction motor delivers 0.75 kW (P2) of mechanical power at a full-speed rating of 2900 rpm (50 Hz) while drawing a modest 2 A of current. Built to IEC 60034 standards with Class F insulation, the drive unit ensures cool, dependable operation.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
