Built to overcome substantial static heights while maintaining generous flow capacity, the Calpeda BSM1V 1MXHL 805-EMT variable-speed booster set meets the rigours of taller commercial buildings and industrial estates. Utilising a single Calpeda MXHL 805 horizontal multistage pump, this packaged plant supplies up to 216.7 L/Min of flow. For demanding vertical distribution, the multistage design can build up to 54 m of head. Its high-head capability ensures top-floor amenities and long distribution runs receive unwavering water pressure.
Seamless modulation of pump output is driven by an integrated I-MAT frequency converter mounted directly on the motor assembly. By continuously comparing live manifold pressure against the user-defined setpoint, the inverter varies rotational speed to keep line pressure rock-steady across changing demand profiles. Built-in energy tracking monitors power usage, while integrated electronic safeguards immediately halt operation if dry running, overtemperature, or phase faults occur.
Every manifold path on the unit is constructed from hygienic AISI 304 stainless steel to guarantee clean, rust-free water transport over decades of use. The pipework features a 40 mm suction header and a 25 mm delivery manifold fitted with a dedicated tapping for an external expansion vessel. Full-bore isolation ball valves, a non-return valve, and a clearly visible pressure gauge are factory fitted for rapid commissioning.
Electrical installation is simplified by the frequency converter, which takes a single-phase 230 V mains feed and converts it for the three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. Operating at a full-load speed of approximately 2900 rpm on a 50 Hz frequency, the 2-pole induction motor delivers 1.8 kW (P2) of mechanical power and draws 4.8 A. Class F insulation and IEC 60034 compliant construction ensure superior thermal stamina.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
