The dual-pump layout provides both high-pressure reach for upper floors and dependable backup capacity for critical hot and cold water circuits.
Self-governing pressure control is governed by calibrated differential pressure switches working alongside an intelligent microprocessor control board. Rather than running both motors continuously, the panel monitors line pressure and engages the assist pump only when fixture demand exceeds single-pump capability. Built-in alternation routines rotate the starting sequence between the two units to promote even component longevity, while delay timers eliminate nuisance short-cycling when small taps are briefly opened.
Both suction and discharge pathways are fabricated from high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel manifolds to ensure clean, scale-free fluid conveyance. Water enters through a generously sized 65 mm suction manifold and exits via a 50 mm delivery header configured with an expansion vessel connection point and a clear system pressure gauge. Full-bore isolation ball valves and integrated non-return valves flank each pump, preventing reverse flow and simplifying field servicing.
Ideal for buildings without three-phase infrastructure, the package operates from a single-phase 230 V electrical connection matching the motor windings. Each 2-pole induction motor spins at roughly 2900 rpm on a 50 Hz supply, producing 1.5 kW (P2) of output power and drawing 9.2 A at rated duty. Constructed to IEC 60034 specifications with Class F thermal insulation, the motors withstand sustained operational loads in demanding plant environments.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
