Driven by two horizontal multistage MXH 1603 pumps working in tandem, this twin booster assembly supplies up to 833.4 L/Min of flow. When boosting water to upper floors, the system can develop up to 31.9 m of delivery head. Its balanced duty-assist arrangement ensures uninterrupted delivery even when simultaneous fixtures open across large sites.
Each pump carries its own dedicated I-MAT frequency converter, enabling precise proportional speed regulation across the entire operating curve. Rather than cycling abruptly between cut-in and cut-out limits, the drives modulate rotational speed to lock onto the desired system pressure while trimming power usage at partial loads. Smart cascade logic rotates the lead pump assignment automatically and incorporates comprehensive dry-run, thermal, and voltage fault protection.
Engineered around fabricated AISI 304 stainless steel manifolds, the hydraulic manifold assembly resists rust, scaling, and internal erosion. Water enters through a generous 80 mm suction header and exits via a 65 mm delivery manifold sized to keep fluid velocities low and quiet. Dedicated isolation ball valves, non-return check valves, an easy-to-read pressure gauge, and a threaded port on the discharge header for an external diaphragm tank complete the mechanical layout.
Switchboard wiring stays simple because the dual inverters run off a single-phase 230 V power source while supplying three-phase 230/400 V output to the motors. Every 2-pole induction unit spins at roughly 2900 rpm on 50 Hz, rated at 1.8 kW (P2) per pump with a full-load current of 4.8 A. Built in accordance with IEC 60034 standards and protected by Class F insulation, the drive train handles rigorous daily operation.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
