Pushing water against steep lift in multi-storey developments, elevated estates, and high-pressure hot-water loops requires the focused hydraulic punch of the Calpeda BSM2V 2MXHL 206-EMT. Equipped with two horizontal multistage MXHL 206 pumps on a shared base frame, this twin booster set delivers up to 160 L/Min of flow. For demanding vertical distribution, the multistage design can build up to 65 m of head. It maintains steady outlet pressure across upper-level fixtures without faltering.
Real-time frequency regulation is provided by two onboard I-MAT variable-speed drives mounted directly to the motor housings. Rather than running at fixed full speed, the converters modulate motor rpm to hold discharge pressure constant and stage the second pump only when system draw increases. Built-in control logic rotates lead and lag duties automatically while shielding the pumps against dry running, phase failure, and overcurrent conditions.
Fabricated from premium AISI 304 stainless steel, the suction and delivery manifolds offer exceptional resistance to corrosion and thermal expansion. A 50 mm suction collector distributes incoming water to both pumps, while the 40 mm delivery header channels pressurised flow into the building riser. Full-bore isolation ball valves, non-return check valves, an analogue pressure gauge, and a delivery connection point for an external diaphragm tank are integrated as standard.
Fed by a single-phase 230 V site supply, the twin inverters generate three-phase 230/400 V power to drive the industrial motor windings. Each 2-pole induction unit runs at approximately 2900 rpm on 50 Hz, rated at 1.1 kW (P2) per pump with a full-load current draw of 2.7 A. Manufactured to IEC 60034 standards with Class F winding insulation, the motors deliver reliable longevity under sustained pressure loads.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
