Built to satisfy high-flow circulation and pressurisation tasks, the BSM2V 2MXHL 402-EMT combines two Calpeda MXHL 402 horizontal multistage pumps on a compact, ready-to-install skid. Under peak simultaneous draw-off, this twin-pump arrangement delivers combined flows up to 266.6 L/Min. To maintain steady pressure across the distribution network, the unit can develop up to 20 m of head.
Seamless pressure modulation comes courtesy of integrated I-MAT frequency converters fitted directly to each pump motor. As building occupants open showers or commercial appliances cycle on, the lead inverter smoothly accelerates its pump to maintain constant line pressure without wasteful throttling. When demand exceeds a single unit's capacity, the second converter automatically stages in to share the hydraulic load while rotating lead-lag roles and providing comprehensive dry-run protection.
Hygienic fluid transfer begins with precision-welded AISI 304 stainless steel manifolds across both the intake and discharge sides of the set. Plumbing contractors can connect supply pipework directly to the 50 mm inlet header and tie building distribution lines into the 40 mm outlet manifold. Full-bore isolation ball valves and integrated check valves prevent backflow and simplify individual pump removal, while an onboard pressure gauge and an external tank connection port streamline commissioning.
Suited to properties without three-phase mains, the booster accepts a single-phase 230 V electrical feed that the inverters convert to run three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. Each 2-pole induction motor reaches a maximum speed of 2900 rpm at 50 Hz and is manufactured to IEC 60034 standards with durable Class F insulation. All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
