Assembled around two Calpeda MXHL 406 horizontal multistage pumps, the BSM2V 2MXHL 406-EMT twin booster system meets fluctuating hydraulic loads with precision. Working in parallel under peak demand, the dual pumps deliver up to 266.6 L/Min. Where high-pressure boosting is needed, the hydraulic stages can produce up to 63 m of head.
Automatic pressure tracking is managed by integrated I-MAT frequency converters mounted directly onto each motor casing. By continuously sensing manifold pressure, the lead converter speeds up or slows down its pump to hold the desired set point without pressure surges or rapid cycling. During heavy draw-off, the lag unit joins smoothly in cascade, while automated duty alternation and built-in dry-run and overload protections safeguard the entire plant.
Every suction and discharge header is fabricated from hygienic AISI 304 stainless steel to resist internal corrosion and maintain potable water quality. Incoming water enters through a 50 mm suction manifold and exits into the building riser via a 40 mm delivery header. Individual isolation ball valves and non-return check valves on each pump leg enable hassle-free servicing, accompanied by a system pressure gauge and an external vessel port.
Powering the set is remarkably convenient because it connects to a single-phase 230 V mains supply while the inverters feed three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. Each 2-pole induction motor spins up to 2900 rpm on 50 Hz power, built to IEC 60034 standards with high-grade Class F insulation. Delivering 1.5 kW (P2) per pump, each motor draws a rated current of 3.6 A at full output.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
