Taller multi-storey buildings, hillside estates, and industrial washdown circuits require high-pressure water boosting that never falters when multiple outlets open at once. Featuring two Calpeda MXHL 407 horizontal multistage pumps mounted on a shared structural frame, the BSM2V 2MXHL 407-EMT is built for high-head, high-flow duties. Together, the twin pumps provide a full-load flow of up to 266.6 L/Min. To support elevated outlets and long pipe runs, the package can deliver up to 73 m of head.
Real-time pressure control is achieved through integrated I-MAT frequency converters fitted directly to each pump motor. As water consumption varies across the property, the active drive modulates impeller speed proportionally to lock in constant delivery pressure and eliminate water hammer. When demand exceeds a single pump's envelope, the second inverter stages in automatically, rotates lead-lag assignments to equalise wear, and guards against dry running or electrical faults.
Sturdy AISI 304 stainless steel forms both the suction and delivery manifolds, protecting water purity and preventing rust over years of continuous operation. Plumbers can connect supply lines to the 50 mm suction header and route boosted water from the 40 mm discharge manifold. Full-bore isolation ball valves and non-return check valves on each branch allow independent pump servicing, alongside a manifold pressure gauge and an external tank port.
Despite its high-pressure output, the package runs from a standard single-phase 230 V electrical feed while the onboard converters energise three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. Each 2-pole induction motor operates at up to 2900 rpm (50 Hz) in accordance with IEC 60034 specifications and uses Class F thermal insulation. Rated at 1.5 kW (P2) per pump, each motor draws 3.6 A under full hydraulic load.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
