Extensive commercial plumbing networks and multi-zone hot-water loops achieve unyielding pressure stability with the Calpeda BSM2V 2MXHL 804-EMT twin-pump booster. Featuring 2 Calpeda MXHL 804 horizontal multistage pumps on a unified skid, this system delivers full-load flows up to 433.4 L/Min. Up to 42.5 m of delivery head can be developed to keep upper-level fixtures properly pressurised. It is purpose-built for hospitals, industrial estates, and multi-storey residences demanding high flow and dual-pump resilience.
Proportional cascade regulation is driven by integrated I-MAT frequency converters mounted atop each individual pump unit. By continuously tracking downstream pressure, the inverters adjust motor frequency to maintain exact setpoint pressure and bring the assist pump online smoothly during peak draw-offs. Energy consumption tracking, automatic duty alternation, and dry-run protection are all built into the drive logic.
Heavy-duty AISI 304 stainless steel suction and delivery headers unify the twin pumps while resisting corrosion across long service intervals. Field connections are made via a 65 mm suction inlet and a 50 mm discharge outlet, supported by per-pump isolation ball valves and non-return check valves. The delivery manifold also houses a system pressure gauge and a connection point for an external diaphragm tank.
Each drive connects to a single-phase 230 V electrical feed and supplies a three-phase 230/400 V motor winding for smooth variable-speed torque. Running on a 2-pole induction architecture at roughly 2900 rpm (50 Hz), each motor delivers 1.5 kW (P2) of mechanical power and draws 3.6 A. Engineered to IEC 60034 benchmarks with Class F insulation, the motors withstand continuous thermal loading.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
