Product Overview
Tall buildings and elevated plumbing zones needing high-head boosting at controlled flow rates can depend on the BSM3V 3MXHL 205-EMT triplex pump set. Equipped with three Calpeda MXHL 205 horizontal multistage pumps on a unified baseplate, this package delivers up to 240 L/Min. Up to 53.5 m of delivery head can be developed to keep upper-level fixtures properly pressurised. Sharing the workload across three pumps provides fine low-flow modulation and uninterrupted backup security.
At the heart of the control system are three integrated I-MAT frequency converters mounted directly on the pump motors. These variable-speed drives monitor delivery pressure continuously, adjusting shaft speed and cascading assist pumps in or out to hold your exact pressure setpoint. Automated duty alternation balances mechanical wear across the trio while onboard electronics protect against dry running, phase loss, and overcurrent faults.
Mechanical pipework connects by a 65 mm suction manifold and a 50 mm discharge header fabricated from AISI 304 stainless steel. Every pump leg incorporates dedicated isolation ball valves and non-return check valves, preventing reverse flow and allowing individual pumps to be isolated for maintenance without shutting down site supply. An analogue pressure gauge and an external vessel connection port are fitted directly to the delivery header.
The booster set connects to a single-phase 230 V power supply, which the onboard inverters convert to run the three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. Each 2-pole induction motor is rated at 0.75 kW (P2), spinning at up to 2900 rpm (50 Hz) with a full-load current draw of 2 A. Built to IEC 60034 standards with Class F thermal insulation, the motors ensure dependable longevity under continuous duty.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
