Built around three horizontal multistage Calpeda MXHL 208 pumps arranged on a shared skid, this boosting plant can develop up to 84.9 m of head for steep vertical lifts. Under peak draw-off conditions, combined flow capacity reaches up to 240 L/Min. Every wet-end component is fabricated from AISI 304 stainless steel, making the station well suited for potable cold water and high-temperature circulation duties alike.
Smart pressure regulation is achieved through three individual I-MAT frequency converters mounted directly on the pump motors. Rather than running at fixed full speed, the inverters ramp motor rotation up or down in direct response to downstream tap openings, keeping system pressure rock-steady. As demand climbs or falls, the controllers stage additional pumps online smoothly and swap duty assignments automatically, while integrated protection circuits watch over dry running, overcurrent, and voltage fluctuations.
Fluid enters the package through a 65 mm AISI 304 stainless steel suction manifold and exits via a 50 mm stainless steel delivery header. To simplify routine upkeep in tight plant rooms, each pump branch is fitted with heavy-duty isolation ball valves and non-return check valves that stop backflow through idle units. A factory-mounted pressure gauge provides clear visual verification of discharge pressure, complemented by a manifold port for fitting an external diaphragm tank.
Power hookup is remarkably flexible, as the inverter system accepts a single-phase 230 V incoming supply and converts it to feed the three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
