Balancing generous water volume with dependable medium-head pressure, the BSM3V 3MXHL 403-EMT triple-pump booster set is built for busy commercial amenities, schools, and apartment buildings. Three horizontal multistage Calpeda MXHL 403 pumps work together on a common frame to supply up to 399.9 L/Min of flow. The multistage impeller stack can develop up to 30 m of head to overcome static building height. With all hydraulic chambers and impellers formed from AISI 304 stainless steel, the package ensures hygienic handling of both potable cold water and heated circulation fluids.
Each pump is driven by its own motor-mounted I-MAT frequency converter, creating a responsive variable-speed boosting plant. By tracking downstream line pressure continuously, the inverters adjust rotational speed to maintain a steady pressure setpoint regardless of how many taps or valves are open. Automatic cascade staging brings lag pumps online smoothly as demand grows, while periodic duty alternation balances operating hours and onboard safeties guard against dry running or electrical surges.
Manifold architecture centres on corrosion-proof AISI 304 stainless steel headers featuring a 65 mm suction inlet and a 50 mm delivery outlet. Individual isolation ball valves and non-return check valves are fitted to all three branches so any single pump can be isolated for maintenance without cutting water supply to the premises. The discharge manifold also incorporates an easy-to-read pressure gauge and a pre-tapped connection port for an external expansion vessel.
Incoming power is supplied via a standard single-phase 230 V circuit, which the integrated I-MAT drives invert to energize the three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. Every pump uses a 2-pole induction motor rated at 0.55 kW (P2) that draws 1.6 A at a nominal speed of 2900 rpm (50 Hz). Constructed to IEC 60034 standards with Class F insulation, the drive assemblies offer low-noise, energy-conscious operation across prolonged duty cycles.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
