Engineered to satisfy simultaneous multi-fixture water demand in medium-rise buildings and industrial facilities, the BSM3V 3MXHL 405-EMT triple-pump booster set combines high flow with solid vertical lift. Three horizontal multistage Calpeda MXHL 405 pumps work in tandem on a shared skid to deliver up to 399.9 L/Min of flow. To support elevated outlets and long pipe runs, the package can deliver up to 52 m of head. All fluid-contacting pump components are crafted from AISI 304 stainless steel, providing superior hygiene and corrosion resistance across hot and cold water lines.
Constant-pressure operation is governed by three individual I-MAT frequency converters mounted directly onto the pump motors. By continuously matching motor speed to live hydraulic consumption, these variable-speed drives prevent pressure fluctuations at distant outlets and reduce power bills during off-peak hours. The intelligent control architecture sequences lag pumps smoothly as demand spikes, alternates lead pump duty automatically, and protects the plant against dry running, phase failure, and thermal overload.
Plumbing connections are streamlined through factory-fabricated AISI 304 stainless steel manifolds featuring a 65 mm suction header and a 50 mm delivery outlet. Every pump branch incorporates dedicated isolation ball valves and non-return check valves, stopping backflow and allowing a technician to isolate any single unit for servicing without interrupting building supply. The delivery header also includes a system pressure gauge and a threaded connection point for an external expansion vessel.
Power connection requires a single-phase 230 V incoming feed, which the onboard I-MAT inverters convert into three-phase 230/400 V power for the motor windings. All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
