During peak demand periods, the triplex unit delivers flows up to 399.9 L/Min. AISI 304 stainless steel impellers, diffusers, and casings ensure long-term resistance to corrosion and thermal stress in potable or hot-water service.
Each pump motor carries its own integrated I-MAT frequency converter to provide autonomous variable-speed pressure control. By reading system pressure in real time, the inverters adjust rotational speed smoothly to hold the programmed setpoint without energy-wasting throttling valves. When water draw increases across the building, lag pumps stage in sequentially and alternate lead duty across cycles, while onboard diagnostics track energy usage and guard against dry running or electrical faults.
Custom-welded AISI 304 stainless steel manifolds unite the three pumps, providing a 65 mm suction header and a 50 mm delivery outlet for straightforward site piping. Isolation ball valves and non-return check valves are fitted at each pump branch so maintenance personnel can service an individual unit while the remaining pumps keep the building pressurized. The discharge header also features a clear pressure gauge and a connection point for an external diaphragm vessel.
Electrical supply is simplified by a single-phase 230 V input feed, which the motor-mounted inverters convert into three-phase 230/400 V power for the motor windings. Every 2-pole induction motor is rated at 1.5 kW (P2) and draws 3.6 A at a nominal operating speed of 2900 rpm (50 Hz). All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
