Major commercial complexes, institutional campuses, and high-occupancy residential precincts require a triplex boosting plant capable of delivering massive water volume with built-in multi-pump redundancy. Configured around three Calpeda MXHL 802 horizontal multistage pumps on a shared industrial skid, the BSM3V 3MXHL 802-EMT handles heavy simultaneous draw-off effortlessly. Operating together at full capacity, the three pumps supply up to 650.1 L/Min. Up to 20.5 m of delivery head can be developed to keep upper-level fixtures properly pressurised.
Coordinated speed control across all three units is governed by integrated I-MAT frequency converters mounted directly onto each motor. During light usage, a single pump modulates its speed to hold constant downstream pressure with minimal power consumption. As additional fixtures open across the facility, the second and third inverters stage their pumps online sequentially, rotate lead and lag roles automatically to equalise wear, and guard against dry running.
High-capacity AISI 304 stainless steel manifolds handle high-volume fluid transfer without excessive friction loss or corrosion risk. Incoming supply connects to an 80 mm suction header, while pressurised water exits into the main building trunk through a 65 mm delivery manifold. Every pump branch features dedicated isolation ball valves and non-return check valves for zero-downtime servicing, alongside a system pressure gauge and an external vessel connection point.
Remarkably for a triplex booster station, the electrical system operates from a single-phase 230 V power supply while each onboard converter drives three-phase 230/400 V motor windings. Each 2-pole induction motor runs at up to 2900 rpm on 50 Hz mains and meets IEC 60034 standards with Class F winding insulation. Rated at 0.75 kW (P2) per pump, each motor draws just 2 A of current at full load.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
