Moving wastewater containing paper, textile and long filamentary materials is the core application for this three-phase submersible grinder pump. It is engineered for domestic and residential installations throughout Australia where macerating solids is required before the effluent enters the main sewer line. The unit handles liquids up to 35°C and provides a fixed vertical solution for collection pits where gravity drainage is impractical.

Powered by a 0.9 kW motor, the pump delivers a maximum flow rate of 220 L/min and reaches a maximum head of 16.5 m. Operating on a 415v supply, it draws a rated current of 2.3 Amps while the submerged motor supports continuous duty operation. The horizontal delivery port accommodates both DN 32 PN 6 flanged and G 1 1/2 threaded pipework connections for installation flexibility.

The hydraulic system incorporates a patented grinding mechanism utilizing rotating and fixed cutting blades manufactured from hardened AISI 440C stainless steel. This configuration reduces paper, textile and long filamentary materials to a 6 mm solid passage, significantly reducing the risk of clogging in discharge systems. A cast iron open impeller provides dependable hydraulic performance for wastewater transfer from domestic collection pits.

Construction features a rugged GJL 200 cast iron pump casing and impeller for long-term durability in permanent submerged installations. Motor protection is provided by a double mechanical shaft seal with an interposed oil chamber containing oil suitable for food and pharmaceutical machinery. The AISI 304 stainless steel motor jacket and AISI 303 shaft are complemented by a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding for reliable service.
