The Calpeda GQGM 6-18 is a heavy-duty stainless steel submersible wastewater pump engineered for pumping sewage, effluent and contaminated water containing solids and fibrous material. Constructed entirely from corrosion-resistant AISI 304 stainless steel, the pump is designed for long service life in demanding domestic, commercial and light industrial wastewater applications.

Equipped with a high-performance grinder impeller, the GQGM 6-18 macerates solids into fine particles before discharge, allowing reliable pumping through small diameter pipework and reducing the risk of blockages. This makes it ideal for sewage transfer, septic systems, basement drainage and pressure sewer installations where conventional pumps may clog.

Powered by a robust single-phase motor, the pump delivers flow rates up to approximately 260 litres per minute with a maximum head of about 18 metres, providing dependable performance for lifting wastewater to elevated discharge points. The motor is designed for continuous submerged operation and is protected by thermal overload protection for safe long-term use.

A double mechanical seal in an oil chamber protects the motor from water ingress, while the submersible construction allows installation directly in pits or tanks. Suitable for wastewater containing organic solids and fibres, the GQGM 6-18 offers a reliable solution for applications requiring grinding capability and corrosion-resistant construction.
