Rainwater harvesting and the removal of water from streams are managed by the Calpeda GQR 10-16. This three-phase submersible pump handles clean water with suspended solids up to 10 mm and liquid temperatures up to 35°C. It is designed for continuous duty operation in civil and industrial environments where high-head performance is required for collection pits and irrigation tanks.

Operating on a 415v three-phase supply, the 0.9 kW motor delivers a 450 L/min flow rate and reaches a maximum head of 15.5 m. drawing 2.3 Amps, internal cooling is achieved by fluid circulating between the motor jacket and outer shell. This design allows for safe service even when partially submerged, maintaining hydraulic stability during prolonged drainage tasks.

The hydraulic configuration utilizes an open single impeller manufactured from cast iron to ensure reliable flow behavior. Water passes through the integrated AISI 304 stainless steel filter at the base, which prevents the entry of debris larger than 10 mm. The vertical threaded delivery port simplifies installation, while manual operation requires a minimum immersion depth of 245 mm.

Mechanical features include a cast iron GJL 200 pump body and an AISI 304 stainless steel motor jacket. Motor sealing is achieved using a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber containing oil for food machinery and pharmaceutic use. The 2-pole induction motor features a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding and is IP X8 rated for immersion up to 5 meters.

    FEATURES

    • Robust cast iron pump casing and impeller provide durability for civil and industrial drainage applications.
    • Double mechanical shaft seal with an oil-filled chamber provides a robust barrier against water ingress.
    • Seal lubrication uses oil for food machinery and pharmaceutic use within the integrated oil chamber.
    • The pumped liquid dissipates motor heat during operation, facilitating safe performance at low water levels.
    • Open impeller design manufactured from GJL 200 cast iron handles solids up to 10 mm without clogging.
    • Three-phase motor winding reliability is supported by a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry construction.
    • AISI 304 stainless steel filter restricts entrance of solid debris to protect the internal cast iron components.
    • Certified IP X8 protection rating for continuous underwater operation at immersion depths up to 5 meters.
