Extracting water from streams and collection pits is handled by the Calpeda GQRM 10-14. This single-phase submersible drainage pump is designed for continuous duty with clean water containing suspended solids up to 10 mm. It is ideal for residential pits and rainwater collection systems where the liquid temperature does not exceed 35°C and pH levels are between 6 and 11.

Hydraulic output reaches a maximum flow rate of 400 L/min and a total head of 13.5 m. Powered by a 0.75 kW 240v motor drawing 4.5 Amps, the pumped liquid provides continuous motor cooling during operation. This thermal management configuration ensures the unit can operate safely during extended drainage tasks even when only partially submerged in the standing position.

Water passes through a single open impeller manufactured from cast iron, housed within a cast iron pump body. The vertical threaded delivery port facilitates direct pipework connection, while the integrated AISI 304 stainless steel filter protects internal hydraulics from debris. Automated service is managed by a float switch, which requires a minimum water level of 425 mm for activation.

Mechanical durability is provided by a GJL 200 cast iron pump casing and an AISI 304 stainless steel motor jacket. Motor protection is achieved via a double mechanical shaft seal with an interposed oil chamber containing food-grade oil. The induction motor features an incorporated capacitor, thermal protector, and a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding for long-term reliability.

    FEATURES

    • Robust cast iron pump casing and impeller provide durability for domestic and civil drainage systems.
    • Double mechanical shaft seal with an integrated oil-filled chamber enhances motor protection during service.
    • Seal lubrication utilizes specialized oil safe for food and pharmaceutical machinery within the oil chamber.
    • The pumped liquid dissipates motor heat during operation, facilitating safe performance at low water levels.
    • Open impeller design manufactured from GJL 200 cast iron handles suspended solids up to 10 mm.
    • Single-phase 240v motor winding includes a built-in thermal protector and an automatic float switch.
    • Motor features triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding designed in accordance with EN 60335-2-41.
    • Certified IP X8 protection rating facilitates continuous duty immersion at depths reaching up to 5 meters.
