    Pairs well with

Drain pit water effectively with the Calpeda GQRM 10-16, a single-phase submersible pump designed for high-volume domestic and civil drainage. This unit handles clean water with suspended solids up to 10 mm at liquid temperatures up to 35°C. It is rated for continuous duty in standing installation positions within collection pits, tanks, or irrigation systems where automatic operation is required.

Operating on a single-phase 240v supply, the 0.9 kW motor reaches a total head of 15.5 m and a maximum flow of 450 L/min. drawing a rated current of 6 Amps, internal cooling is achieved by fluid circulating between the motor jacket and outer shell. This design allows for safe service during partial submersion, with an integrated float switch managing start and stop cycles based on levels.

The hydraulic configuration utilizes a single open impeller manufactured from cast iron for efficient liquid handling. An integrated AISI 304 stainless steel filter prevents the entry of oversized solids, ensuring internal components remain protected. Automatic operation requires a minimum water level of 450 mm, while manual extraction can reach down to 245 mm.

Construction features a GJL 200 cast iron pump casing and an AISI 304 stainless steel motor jacket. Sealing is achieved through a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber housing oil for food machinery and pharmaceutical use. The motor winding includes an incorporated capacitor, a built-in thermal protector, and a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding.

    FEATURES

    • Cast iron construction for the pump body and impeller provides structural durability in submerged environments.
    • Double mechanical shaft seal with an interposed oil chamber protects the motor against fluid ingress.
    • Mechanical shaft seal lubrication is ensured by pharmaceutical-grade oil within the integrated oil chamber.
    • Pumped liquid provides continuous motor cooling by flowing through the external jacket during operation.
    • Open cast iron impeller design handles clean water containing suspended solids up to 10 mm in diameter.
    • Automated drainage is facilitated by an integrated float switch featuring an incorporated starting capacitor.
    • Includes a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding designed in accordance with EN 60335-2-41 standards.
    • IP X8 protection rating supports continuous immersion at depths of up to 5 meters with included 10m cable.
