Management of collection pit drainage is handled by the Calpeda GQRM 10-18. Equipped with an automatic float switch, this single-phase submersible pump is ideal for residential and civil drainage tasks requiring continuous duty service. It is designed for handling clean water with suspended solids up to 10 mm and liquid temperatures not exceeding 35°C in the standing position.

Powered by a 1.1 kW single-phase 240v motor, the unit reaches a total head of 17.5 m and a maximum flow rate of 450 L/min. Operating with a rated current of 8 Amps, the pumped liquid dissipates motor heat during operation. This thermal management system supports safe operation during extended run cycles even when the unit is only partially submerged in collection pits or tanks.

Hydraulic performance is produced by a single open impeller configuration manufactured from cast iron for efficient liquid transfer. The vertical delivery port is ISO 228 G 1 1/2 compatible, and the base of the unit features an integrated AISI 304 filter to protect the hydraulic stages. Automatic operation activation requires a minimum water level of 470 mm, with manual extraction possible down to 265 mm.

Construction features a GJL 200 cast iron pump casing and impeller with an AISI 304 stainless steel motor jacket. Sealing is managed by a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber containing oil for food machinery and pharmaceutic use. The motor features a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding and is suitable for permanent installation at immersion depths up to 5 meters.
