Remove flood water reliably with the Calpeda GQRM 10-20, a heavy-duty single-phase submersible pump designed for high-volume domestic and civil drainage. This unit handles clean or slightly dirty water with suspended solids up to 10 mm at liquid temperatures up to 35°C. It is rated for continuous duty and equipped with an automatic float switch for service in collection pits and flooded basements.

Powered by a robust 1.5 kW 240v motor, this model achieves a total head of 19.5 m and a high flow rate of 500 L/min. drawing a rated current of 13 Amps, internal cooling is achieved by fluid circulating between the motor jacket and outer shell. This self-cooling design ensures the unit can operate safely even when the motor is only partially submerged in standing installation positions.

Water passes through a single open impeller arranged within a cast iron GJL 200 pump body to move fluid efficiently. An integrated AISI 304 stainless steel filter prevents the entrance of oversized debris, while the vertical threaded delivery port simplifies connection to discharge pipework. For automatic service, the float switch requires a minimum activation level of 500 mm.

Close-coupled construction features a cast iron pump body and an AISI 304 stainless steel external jacket. Motor protection is achieved via a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber containing food-grade and pharmaceutical-safe oil. The induction motor features an incorporated capacitor, thermal protector, and a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding for long-term reliability in submerged environments.
