Calpeda GXCM 40-10 Stainless Steel Float Switch Sewage Pump for Flooded Rooms with Two-Passage Impeller

Drain flooded rooms automatically with the Calpeda GXCM 40-10. This single-phase submersible pump is equipped with an integrated float switch, managing automated drainage tasks for civil sewage and wastewater transfer. It handles clean or dirty water containing suspended solids up to 35 mm at liquid temperatures reaching up to 35°C during continuous duty service.

Operating on a single-phase 240v supply, this 0.55 kW motor achieves a total head of 9 m and a 350 L/min flow rate. Drawing 4.6 Amps, internal cooling is achieved by fluid circulating between the motor jacket and outer shell. This thermal management configuration ensures the unit can operate safely during extended run cycles even when partially submerged, while the float switch controls automated operation cycles.

Water passes through a two-passage impeller design housed within a chrome-nickel stainless steel pump casing. This setup facilitates efficient flow behavior and allows for the passage of solids up to 35 mm without causing clogs or damage. The vertical delivery port simplifies installation in tight spaces, while the integrated filter restricts the entry of oversized debris during automatic extraction.

Construction consists of chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304 for all primary components, including the delivery casing and motor jacket. Sealing is managed by a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber containing oil for food machinery and pharmaceutical use. The motor features an incorporated capacitor, built-in thermal protector, and a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding for long-term submerged performance.
