Drainage of flooded rooms and tanks and extraction of water from ponds, streams or pits are managed by the Calpeda GXR 12-20. This three-phase submersible pump is designed for rainwater collection where continuous duty is required. It handles clean water containing suspended solids up to 12 mm and liquid temperatures up to 40°C in the standing position.
Operating on a 415v three-phase supply, the 1.5 kW motor delivers a powerful 500 L/min maximum flow rate and reaches a maximum head of 18.4 m. The 2-pole induction motor draws 4.3 Amps and is cooled by the pumped water passing between the motor jacket and external jacket. This thermal management system supports safe operation during partial submersion.
Hydraulic performance is produced by an open single impeller configuration that enables the passage of suspended solids up to 12 mm without compromising flow. The vertical delivery port is ISO 228 G 1 1/2 compatible, and the base of the unit features an integrated filter to protect the hydraulic components. Manual operation allows for drainage down to a residual water level of just 15 mm.
Construction features an external jacket, motor jacket, and filter manufactured from chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304. Sealing is managed by a double shaft seal with an oil chamber containing oil for food and pharmaceutical machinery. The motor features a double impregnation humidity-proof dry winding and is suitable for immersion depths up to 5 meters.
