The Calpeda GXRM 13 is a high-quality stainless steel submersible drainage pump designed for reliable removal of clean or slightly dirty water in domestic, commercial and light industrial applications. Constructed from chrome-nickel AISI 304 stainless steel with a single open impeller, the pump delivers excellent corrosion resistance and dependable performance for draining flooded areas, tanks, pits and rainwater collection systems.
Powered by a 0.45 kW single-phase motor, the GXRM 13 produces flow rates up to 220 litres per minute with a maximum head of 12.7 metres, making it ideal for rapid water removal where durability and efficiency are essential. The motor is cooled by the pumped liquid flowing between the motor casing and outer jacket, enabling continuous duty operation while maintaining safe operating temperatures.
The integrated float switch provides automatic start and stop functionality based on water level, helping prevent dry running and reducing the need for manual supervision. A double mechanical seal with oil chamber protects the motor from water ingress, while thermal overload protection enhances reliability and service life.
Suitable for pumping clean water with suspended solids up to approximately 10 mm, the GXRM 13 can be used for draining basements, sumps, ponds, construction sites and irrigation storage systems. With IPX8 protection for continuous immersion and a maximum immersion depth of 5 metres, it is engineered for dependable operation in demanding wet environments.
