The Calpeda GXRM 9 is a compact, high-quality stainless steel submersible drainage pump designed for reliable removal of clean or slightly dirty water in domestic, commercial and light industrial applications. Manufactured from chrome-nickel AISI 304 stainless steel with an open single impeller, the pump offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in demanding wet environments.
Powered by a 0.25 kW single-phase motor, the GXRM 9 delivers flow rates up to approximately 170 litres per minute with a maximum head of 9 metres, making it ideal for draining flooded areas, tanks, pits, basements and rainwater systems. The motor is cooled by the pumped liquid flowing between the motor casing and external jacket, allowing continuous duty operation while maintaining safe operating temperatures.
The integrated float switch enables automatic start and stop according to water level, preventing dry running and reducing manual supervision. A double mechanical seal with oil chamber protects the motor from water ingress, while built-in thermal protection enhances reliability and durability.
Suitable for pumping clean water with suspended solids up to about 10 mm, the GXRM 9 can be used for drainage of flooded rooms, sumps, ponds, rainwater collection pits and irrigation storage. With IPX8 protection for continuous immersion and a maximum immersion depth of around 5 metres, it is engineered for dependable long-term operation.
