Water transfer from pits and management of slightly dirty water is handled by the Calpeda GXV 25-10 SG. This manual submersible drainage pump is designed for handling liquids containing solids up to 25 mm grain size at temperatures reaching 50°C. It supports continuous duty operation in the standing position and is suitable for both domestic and civil drainage applications.

Operating on a 240v single-phase supply, the 0.45 kW motor reaches a total head of 9.5 m and a maximum flow rate of 220 L/min. Drawing a rated current of 4.5 Amps, the pumped liquid provides continuous motor cooling during operation. This supporting design allows for safe service during prolonged drainage tasks even when the motor is only partially submerged.

The internal hydraulic configuration utilizes a single vortex impeller housed within a vertical delivery port casing. This setup facilitates efficient flow behavior and allows for the handling of liquids with filamentous particles without clogging. The integrated suction strainer prevents the entrance of oversized debris, ensuring the internal hydraulic stages are protected during service.

Mechanical durability is provided by an AISI 304 stainless steel external jacket, pump casing, and filter. Sealing is provided by a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber containing oil for food machinery and pharmaceutical use. The motor features an incorporated capacitor, built-in thermal protector, and a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding for reliable operation.

    FEATURES

    • Manufactured entirely in chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304 for all internal and external parts in contact with fluid.
    • Manual configuration (SG) without a float switch is ideal for continuous run or externally monitored tasks.
    • Double mechanical shaft sealing with an integrated oil chamber enhances motor protection and lubrication.
    • Seal chamber is filled with oil for food machinery and pharmaceutic use to provide shaft seal lubrication.
    • Internal cooling is achieved by fluid circulating between the motor jacket and outer shell during service.
    • Vortex impeller design facilitates the handling of clean or slightly dirty water with solids up to 25 mm.
    • Motor features triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding designed in accordance with EN 60335-2-41.
    • Rated for IP X8 protection with continuous immersion up to 5 meters using the included 10m power cable.
