Extracting standing water effectively is handled by the Calpeda GXV 25-8 SG, a manual submersible pump designed for civil and domestic water transfer tasks. This single-phase unit handles liquid temperatures up to 50°C and is particularly suitable for liquids with a high solid content up to 25 mm. The manual (SG) configuration is ideal for continuous duty cycles where automated float switches are not required.

Powered by a 0.37 kW 240v motor, this model achieves a total head of 7.8 m and a maximum flow rate of 200 L/min. drawing a rated current of 3.5 Amps, internal cooling is achieved by fluid circulating between the motor jacket and outer shell. This self-cooling design ensures the unit can operate safely during extended drainage run cycles, even when only partially submerged.

Water passes through a single vortex impeller arranged to move clean or slightly dirty water with high efficiency. The suction filter is integrated into the AISI 304 pump body to protect the hydraulics, while the vertical delivery port configuration assists in streamlined installation. Manual operation allows for the extraction of water down to a residual level of just 30 mm from the floor.

The close-coupled construction features an external jacket and motor jacket manufactured from chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304. Sealing is managed by a double shaft seal with an oil chamber containing oil for food and pharmaceutical machinery. The induction motor includes an incorporated capacitor, built-in thermal protector, and a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding.
