Reliable automated drainage in civil pits is provided by the Calpeda GXVM 25-10 GFA. This submersible pump is equipped with a vertical magnetic float switch, enabling automatic operation in narrow wells or tanks where space is at a premium. It is designed for managing clean or dirty water with suspended solids up to 25 mm at liquid temperatures not exceeding 50°C.
Powered by a 0.45 kW single-phase 240v motor, the model delivers a maximum flow rate of 220 L/min and reaches a maximum head of 9.5 m. Operating with a rated current of 4.5 Amps, the pumped liquid dissipates motor heat during operation. This thermal management design permits safe continuous duty performance even when the unit is only partially submerged in pits.
Water passes through a single vortex impeller arranged to move clean or slightly dirty liquids with high efficiency and clog resistance. The suction filter is integrated into the AISI 304 stainless steel pump body, and the vertical delivery port facilitates direct connection to discharge pipework. For automatic service, the magnetic switch requires a minimum water level of 130 mm.
The close-coupled construction features motor and pump jackets manufactured from chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304. Sealing is achieved using a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber housing oil for food and pharmaceutical machinery. This single-phase unit includes a built-in thermal protector, incorporated capacitor, and a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding.
