The vertical magnetic float switch on the Calpeda GXVM 25-6 GFA allows for automated water transfer in narrow collection pits where traditional float switches may be restricted. This submersible drainage pump is designed for handling clean or slightly dirty water with suspended solids up to 25 mm. It is ideal for domestic drainage and managing flooded tanks with liquid temperatures up to 50°C.

Operating on a single-phase 240v supply, this 0.25 kW pump provides efficient hydraulic output for small-scale drainage tasks. It reaches a maximum head of 5.7 m and a maximum flow rate of 170 L/min, drawing a rated current of 2.5 Amps. The pumped liquid dissipates motor heat during operation, supporting thermal stability during extended continuous duty run cycles.

Water passes through a single-impeller free-flow vortex configuration manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. This design ensures that solids can pass through the hydraulic stages without causing clogs or damage. The vertical delivery port simplifies installation in tight spaces, while the integrated filter restricts the entry of oversized debris during automatic operation.

Construction features chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304 for the pump casing, filter, and motor jacket. Sealing is managed by a double shaft seal with an oil chamber containing oil for food and pharmaceutical machinery. The induction motor includes a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding, a built-in thermal protector, and an incorporated capacitor for safe submerged service.
