Calpeda GXVM 25-8 Stainless Steel Float Switch Drainage Pump for Rainwater Collection with Vortex Impeller

Construction of the Calpeda GXVM 25-8 features a chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304 external jacket and pump casing for enhanced durability in submerged environments. This close-coupled unit is designed for continuous duty service in domestic and civil drainage applications involving slightly dirty water. It handles liquid temperatures up to 50°C and is particularly effective for rainwater collection and pit extraction tasks.

Extracting water from collection pits is handled by this 0.37 kW single-phase 240v pump, which includes an automatic float switch. It reaches a total head of 7.8 m and delivers a maximum flow rate of 200 L/min while drawing a rated current of 3.5 Amps. Internal cooling is achieved by fluid circulating between the motor jacket and outer shell, permitting safe operation during partial submersion.

A single-impeller free-flow vortex design moves clean or slightly dirty water through the vertical delivery port. The hydraulic configuration is designed to handle suspended solids up to 25 mm in diameter, preventing clogging during high-solid extraction. An integrated filter protects internal components, supporting a minimum manual water level of 30 mm during operation.

Motor protection is provided by a double mechanical shaft seal with an interposed oil chamber housing oil for food and pharmaceutical machinery. The 2-pole induction motor incorporates a built-in thermal protector and an incorporated capacitor for simplified service. It is constructed with a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding and is suitable for immersion depths up to 5 meters.
