Calpeda MXSM 309CG Stainless Steel Multi-stage Submersible Pump for Ground Water Supply with Float Switch

An AISI 304 stainless steel external jacket surrounds the Calpeda MXSM 309CG, which includes a float switch for clean water transfer in civil and industrial environments. Sealing is provided by a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber containing oil for food machinery and pharmaceutic use. The motor features a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding, built-in thermal protector, and capacitor incorporated in the float switch.

Designed for domestic water supply from wells or tanks, the unit is used for rainwater harvesting and garden irrigation with clean liquid at temperatures up to 35°C. It supports continuous duty service and is compatible with wells having a 140 mm minimum diameter. The design allows for installation in the standing position within reservoirs and tanks.

Multi-stage hydraulics utilize stainless steel impellers housed within stage casings to move clean liquid through the pump. An integrated suction strainer prevents the entry of solids with a diameter bigger than 2 mm, protecting the internal components from wear. This configuration supports reliable flow behavior during submerged operation.

Hydraulic output reaches a maximum head of 91 m and a maximum flow rate of 75 L/min. Powered by a 2.2 kW single-phase 240v motor, the unit draws a rated current of 14.3 Amps. Cooling is provided by the pumped liquid flowing around the motor, permitting safe operation during partial submersion.
