Water supply from wells, tanks, or reservoirs is handled by the Calpeda MXSM 310. It is used for clean water transfer in domestic, civil, and industrial applications, including garden irrigation and rainwater harvesting systems. The pump allows safe operation even when partially submerged with clean cold water at temperatures up to 35°C.
This single-phase 240v model operates with a rated current of 12 Amps, reaching a maximum head of 101.5 m and a maximum flow rate of 75 L/min. Continuous duty is supported by the motor cooling design, where the pumped fluid passes between the jacket and external shell to maintain operating temperatures.
Multi-stage hydraulics feature stainless steel impellers for clean water transfer through the stage casings. An integrated suction strainer prevents the entrance of solids with a diameter bigger than 2 mm, protecting the internal components. The design allows for installation in the standing position within wells having a minimum internal diameter of 140 mm.
Mechanical construction features a close-coupled 5-inch design with an external jacket in chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304. It includes a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber containing oil for food machinery and pharmaceutic use. The motor features an incorporated capacitor, a built-in thermal protector, and a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding.
