Designed for garden irrigation and rainwater harvesting, the Calpeda MXSM 504 provides clean water transfer for domestic and civil applications. It is suitable for water supply from wells or tanks, operating at clean liquid temperatures up to 35°C. The pump is intended for continuous duty in submerged environments in the standing position.
Performance characteristics for this 0.9 kW single-phase unit include a maximum head of 39 m and a maximum flow rate of 133 L/min. Operating at 240v with a rated current of 6 Amps, the motor is cooled by the pumped fluid to allow for service during partial submersion.
Multi-stage hydraulics feature stainless steel impellers for clean water transfer through the casings. To protect the internal components, an integrated suction strainer limits the entrance of solids to those with a diameter no bigger than 2 mm. The 5-inch close-coupled structure is compatible with wells having a 140 mm minimum internal diameter.
Mechanical features include an external jacket and delivery casing manufactured from chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304. Sealing is provided by a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber. The single-phase motor includes an incorporated capacitor, a built-in thermal protector, and a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding.
