Designed for domestic water supply, the Calpeda MXSM 509 manages clean water transfer from wells or reservoirs in civil and industrial environments. It is suitable for garden irrigation and rainwater harvesting, operating with clean liquid up to 35°C. The pump supports continuous duty service in standing positions.
This powerful 2.2 kW single-phase 240v motor reaches a maximum head of 91 m and provides a maximum flow rate of 133 L/min. Drawing a rated current of 14.3 Amps, the motor is cooled by the pumped fluid passing through the external jacket, which permits the pump to operate safely while partially submerged.
Multi-stage hydraulics feature stainless steel impellers for clean water transfer through the casings. A suction strainer prevents the entrance of solids with a diameter bigger than 2 mm to protect the internal components. The close-coupled 5-inch design is compatible with wells having a minimum diameter of 140 mm.
Mechanical features include an external jacket and shaft manufactured from chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304. Motor protection is provided by a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber. The single-phase motor includes an incorporated capacitor, a built-in thermal protector, and a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding.
