An AISI 304 stainless steel external jacket surrounds the Calpeda MXSM 904CG, a close-coupled unit equipped with a float switch for automated clean water transfer. Sealing is provided by a double mechanical shaft seal with an oil chamber containing oil for food machinery and pharmaceutic use. The motor features a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding, built-in thermal protector, and capacitor incorporated in the float switch.
Designed for civil water supply and irrigation from tanks, the unit handles clean liquid at temperatures up to 35°C in continuous duty scenarios. It fits narrow wells with a 140 mm minimum internal diameter and is intended for standing installation. Construction features all internal and external parts in contact with fluid in chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304.
Powered by a 1.50 kW single-phase 240v motor, this model reaches a maximum flow of 183 L/min and 39 m maximum head. Drawing a rated current of 9 Amps, the pumped liquid dissipates motor heat during operation. This design permits safe operation even when the unit is only partially submerged during operation.
The hydraulic section incorporates multiple stainless steel impellers arranged in stages within the AISI 304 casings. To protect the internal components, a base-integrated suction strainer restricts the entrance of solid particles to a diameter no bigger than 2 mm. This configuration supports reliable clean water transfer for domestic and industrial applications.
